My goodness I just had the best time watching She is king 😁. It was entirely my first proper “Hello December” moment for 2017. A relevant and refreshing musical featuring some of the best talent in SA.

The 1 hour 30 minute movie took me to so many places. From longing for the excitement of new love to tearing up when emotions got high, man it’s an awesome feel good movie. It was my first time hearing and seeing Gugu Zulu…I’m in love..I’m even thinking of starting a stalker instagram shrine account dedicated to her, legit. Ok maybe I should take baby steps and start with a twitter thread about her, which would start off like “The gorgeous & mystical Gugu Zulu: A THREAD”…😂😂

A beautiful depiction of the pursuit of a dream, the beauty of friendship/sisterhood and overcoming lifes challenges. 10/10 for this spectacular production. Big congratulations to the entire She is king team. Just brilliant 😊😊.
