Some adventures come out the most unexpected events. So yesterday I join my mom and my sister on a mission to an antique store in Parys, Free State.

The objective of the day was to look for a vintage headboard for my sister aka B , given that the one Mama had chosen was not quite her taste to put it mildly 😂😂. I was just around to watch the debate over quality of wood vs functionality vs the vintage funk B wanted.  .

We started at Pine Antiques which is actually 3 stores in one with a hidden small cake shop in one of them.

We ended up going to a number of stores just taking in all the designs and textures. What I loved was how the creative energies were flowing and how we saw the potential some of the pieces had.  The whole experience was great. I would definitely go again.

We ended off our day with cake in the garden at wait for it The Garden @8th on Middel.  We literally had the best time😊.
