This movie narrates the story of Malawian William Kamkwamba and how he built a windmill from scrap parts to generate electricity which helped their village to continue farm. I was first introduced to William’s story by some colleagues a few years ago and we would often show our mentees short videos about William and his inspiring journey. There was so much more to his story as the movie shares with us and I loved watching it.

This Chiwetel Ejiofar and Netflix production brings this story to life so beautifully with grace and dignity you would have to be made from stone to not enjoy it or allow your emotions to travel with those of the characters.

Brilliant story line, great acting overall awesome production if you ask me. I hope we can get the sound tracks online too because I was definitely feeling the music throughout the movie.
